Best Time to Visit Agra

Summer (March – June)Summer season in Kerala begins in the month of March and continues till May. During the summer season, Kerala receives some rainfall and experiences hot and humid weather. However, it is not as bad as it sounds, thanks to the cool winds from Arabian Sea for the relief. It is a good time to enjoy beach activities at the beaches of Alleppey, Thiruvananthapuram or enjoy sightseeing at the attractions of Wayanad.
Monsoon (July – September)Monsoons in Kerala arrive in the month of June and last till August. Heavy rains add a fresher look to entire state and make it more alluring. Thunderstorms are a common feature of this season. It is an ideal time for experiencing Ayurvedic treatments. Also, it is a good time to enjoy sightseeing at different destinations of Kerala like Idukki, Kovalam and Wayanad.
Autumn (October – November)The relief brought on by the monsoon season is not as great as you’d expect. Despite numerous days of rain, daytime temps remain in the 90s, and the frequent precipitation adds humidity to the already stifling air. However, the scenery will be particularly green and beautiful, which you can enjoy between showers. October is not part of the monsoon season, but it will still be pretty hot
Winter (December – March) Winters are the best time to visit Agra. The season starts here from the month of November and lasts till March. The temperature can touch even 2°C mark during the peak time while the average temperature ranges in between 8 to 14 degree Celsius.

How To Reach Agra
Agra is famous not only in India but also all over the world for the beautiful monument as well as a symbol of love. Agra attracts a lot of tourists every year and leaves them completely mesmerized. Often the tourists, basically the international are confronted with the problem of how to reach Agra! But Agra being a chief city of Uttar Pradesh is well connected by flights, trains and road transport.
How to Reach Agra by Flight
Agra’s Kheria airport is also a military base. It is a seasonal commercial airport and is connected only by Air India flights from New Delhi. The flight from Delhi to Agra is less than an hour long. Kheria airport is 13 kilometres away from Agra city. Hire a taxi from the airport to get to the city, which should take you around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
How to Reach Agra by Road
Agra is connected to Delhi by NH2 and the new Yamuna Expressway. The drive time is about 4-5 hours depending on traffic and time of the day. Jaipur is connected to Agra by NH11 and is a 4-hour drive. Gwalior, connected by NH3 is a 1.5-hour drive while Lucknow and Kanpur, connected by NH2, are about a 2-hour and 5-hour drive respectively.
How to Reach Agra by Train
Agra is situated on the Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Chennai route and is well connected to most cities across India. There are regular trains to Agra from cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Gwalior and Jhansi. Agra is also well connected to cities in other parts of the country such as Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai. There are five railway stations in Agra – Agra Cantt Station (the main station), Agra Fort Railway Station, Raja ki Mandi, Agra City and Idgah Railway Station. The Taj Mahal and Agra Fort are a short distance away from Agra Cantt railway station and one can hire a pre-paid taxi, auto rickshaw or even a cycle rickshaw to get to these attractions.
Commuting Within Agra
Auto rickshaws, cycle rickshaws, local buses and taxis are other means of transport. Cab aggregator services like Uber and Ola are also good options to travel within the city.
