So we got talked into booking a... read more tour with this company through our hostel in Delhi, but we did already have an itinerary planned so maybe do avoid if you’ve planned well and are a confident traveller. Whilst it wasn’t a completely bad idea, especially as we are new to travelling, I’m not sure it was worth the money. Our driver was nice and it was a good idea to have a driver in some situations. However the drive between locations was very long (in particular Agra to Pushkar, a place we didn’t plan to go originally but it turned out nice) was 7 hours in the car which is very boring. The place this company booked us to stay in Pushkar was pretty awful, it advertised having a pool but the pool was disgusting so unusable, it also seemed like no one else was staying in this whole place which was odd. We got caught in a few tourist traps, for example we got told Jaipur was good for shopping, but the driver took us to 2 places one after the other where we had to sit and be told how block painting worked (once was enough?) and then relentlessly trying to sell us various items, we weren’t allowed to browse ourselves at all. We are backpackers and didn’t want to spend a lot or carry much more than we already have but they just didn’t give up and it was awkward. I wondered if we were to buy anything our driver would have received commission and this is why it was such a hard sell. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience but do be prepared to spend a lot of time on the road and be taken to places that may not be as they seem.

Not only I got to know all about the Taj Mahal and the red fort, but I also got to enjoy the real Indian culture, as they took me to delicious typical restaurants and artisanal local shops, thus allowing me to really taste the colourful Indian tradition in time of Diwali!
I would recommend Jitu and Khan to anyone wanting to have an amazing time in Agra!

Together we planned the trip to these places: Mandawa, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, desert safari, Jodhpur, udaipur, pushkar, jaipur, ramtambur jungle safari and agra. All the places had been amazing. Sanjay has a clean and nice car with air condition. He is a very good driver and knows all the good places and stops on the go. But the biggest gift of this trip is the relation to Sanjay. He is such a blessing and makes us feel home and safe thru travelling India. I cannot thank him enough for his guidance and friendship. My deepest recommendations! Uncle Sanjay is the best!

Experience have been so good i extended my stay at Hindustan by Backpackers and also trusted Raj and Bhupesh with my eyes closed.

Did different... read more tours without planning in avance, thinking my time was limited but they made it possible without me having to worry.

Making me feel safe and like family in such a big country as India is not easy.
