I think a guide is worthwhile because there are a lot of things that you wouldn’t learn without them. I was on my own and there were no others on the tour so I was able to ask lots of questions.
We were there fairly early so I don’t think we actually jumped a queue. Like many attractions, if you get there early it’s usually less crowded.
There are options to visit old Delhi market lanes afterwards as it in the same neighbourhood.
The driver dropped me back to the hotel making the whole experience fairly painless.
I literally booked a couple of hours before the tour and they were very accomodating in making it happen as I didn’t have a lot of time.

Everything is well arranged for example private drivers such as Manu and Nawal who have been showing me around several cities with great knowledge about the locations and have been very friendly and helpful.

There was always pickup and drop-off available to and from the train stations The hotels were great and for any questions Raj was always available and took the effort to help you out.
